Wireless zone controller

(VT.STL.8E) The wireless zone controller is destined for control of valve actuators of climatic systems of buildings and structures in accordance with the information received from wireless temperature sensors or thermostats.

The controller can be connected to a Wi-Fi network using additional VT.ST.WIFI.RS.0 module, thereby allowing the user to control the climatic system via Web interface or free eModul mobile application available for download in the Play Market and in the Apple Store.

The controller has the possibility to control eight temperature zones al once. Each temperature zone can be connected to:
• up to two wireless temperature sensors or thermostats;
• up to six wire electrothermal actuators of both normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) type;
• up to six wireless servo drives of VT.STT.868.0 type.

The following supplementary equipment can be connected to the controller:
• VT.C8.ZR.0 wireless outdoor air temperature sensor;
• up to three wired sensors of KTY 2 kOhm type. The wired sensor can be assigned to any of eight temperature zones or as an outdoor air sensor;
• heating circuit circulation pump;
• heating boiler with “:dry contact” control;
• VT.ST.WIFI.RS.0 internet module;
• VT.STM.8E.0 remote control panel.

Each temperature zone can operate in one of four main modes:
• local schedule: is assigned to each of eight zones;
• global schedule: applies to all temperature zones;
• constant temperature: standard operating mode at the preset temperature;
• time limit: operating mode at the preset temperature during the specified time interval.

Besides the main operating modes, the controller allows you to make a simplified setting by choosing one of four operating modes for each zone:
• normal mode: functioning according to the set chart or the preset temperature;
• "vacation" mode: functioning at the preset reduced temperature (by default, the temperature for all zones is +10 °C);
• economic mode: functioning at the preset reduced temperature (by default, the temperature for all zones is +18 °C);
• comfort mode: functioning at the preset comfortable temperature (by default, the temperature for all zones is +24 °C).

For each temperature zone, weather regulation is available, depending on the readings of the wired or wireless outdoor air temperature sensor. Reached the preset outside air value (from +5 to +35°C), the heating valve is moved to the closed position.

The zone controller switches off the boiler and the circulation pump, if there is no demand for heating in all temperature zones. If necessary, you can set the temperature zones involved in the pump shutdown algorithm, as well as set the delay time of activation of the boiler control and the circulation pump relay.
