Compression fittings
Compression fittings VALTEC are meant for connecting metal-polymer pipes made of ordinary, cross-linked (laced) or thermally-resistant polyethylene. The structural specifics of VALTEC compression fittings have given them a number of advantages as compared to similar products by other companies, namely: high (by 8-12%) throughput, mechanical strength, thermal-resistance and durability of connections. The bodies of these fittings are made of hot-pressed brass brand CW617N (Euro standard EN 12165) and the gasket rings are made of synthetic rubber EPDM with elastomer additives. The design provides for two gasket rings in each item. To make sure that during the course of connecting the fitting and the metal-plastic pipe there would be no chance of contact between aluminium of the pipe and brass, for which there is a Teflon washer (pad). The nickel-plating of the body helps avoid the wearing off of zinc and resulting brass corrosion. The sized ferrule (clamping washer) of the fittings is made out of a tube and not out of a strip, as is done by other manufacturers. This provides for even clamping (closure) of the metal-plastic pipe along the whole diameter. The VALTEC compression fittings are good for use with metal-plastic pipes of dimensions: 16х2.0; 20х2.0; 26х3.0; 32х3.0 мм. The installation of compression fittings is simple and requires the least number of tools: two spanners and calibrator for pipe’s face smoothing. In case of need the compression fittings can be uninstalled and reinstalled. The VALTEC compression fittings are good for use in circuits with working temperatures of up to 130°C. nominal pressure: 25 bar.
