Ball valves for water STANDARD, nickel-plated (GOST)

STANDARD nickel-plated ball valves for water (GOST) are produced by a Russian company by order of VALTEC.

The valves are designed to shut off the flow of the operating environment in pipeline systems of cold water supply (including domestic and drinking water), hot water supply, water heating, steam heating (including on condensate lines). They can also be used on process pipelines transporting liquids and gases (group 2 according to CU TR 032/2013) non-aggressive towards the valve materials.

VALTEC STANDARD nickel-plated ball valves (GOST) are designed for use in the systems with the operating environment temperature from +1 to +150 °C (except for models VT.127.N and VT.128.N). Nominal pressure: 40 bar (taken as the operating pressure at the operating temperature not exceeding 30°C). Valves service life: 25 years, average resource: 10 thousand cycles.

Valves bodies are made of brass grade ЛЦ40Сд (LC40Sd) with nickel coating. Ball gate and rod material: brass ЛЦ40Сд (LC40Sd). The gate has chrome coating applied to a copper substrate. The seat rings and the sealing gland are made of PTFE+C+EM fluoroplastic with thermal additives while the sealing ring is made of EPDM elastomer.

Depending on the model, the valve is equipped with a silumin butterfly handle painted with epoxy paint or a flag handle made of galvanized steel with PVC coating.

VALTEC STANDARD nickel-plated ball valves (GOST) should not experience mechanical loads from pipelines (bending, compression, stretching, twisting, torsion, misalignment, vibration, nozzles misadjustment, uneven fasteners tightening). If necessary, supports or compensators should be provided.

The thread of pipelines and other parts connected to the valve should comply with GOST 6357-81. Valves external thread is not intended for connection with a coupling nut and a flat gasket.

It is forbidden to disassemble the valves. If leakage appears through the rod, tighten the packing bush.

The fittings are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of GOST R 59553-2021.
