Ball valves for water GOST

Ball valves of the VALTEC GOST series are designed to shut off the flow of the operating medium in pipeline systems of cold water supply (including domestic and drinking water), hot water supply, water heating, steam heating (including on condensate lines) as well as on process pipelines transporting liquids and gases (group 2 according to TR CU 032/2013), non-aggressive to the valve materials.

VALTEC GOST Ball valves are full bore ones. They are designed for operation in the systems with the operating environment temperature from -20 to +150 °C. Nominal pressure: 40 bar (taken as the operating pressure at the working temperature not exceeding 30 °C). Service life of the valves: 30 years, average resource: 25 thousand cycles.

Valves bodies are made of brass grade LS-59-2 with nickel coating. Ball gate and rod material: brass LS58-2. The ball gate has a chrome coating applied to the copper base. The seat rings and gland seal are made of fluoroplastic with thermal additives PTFE+C+EM while the sealing ring is made of EPDM elastomer.

Depending on the model, the valve is equipped with a silumin butterfly handle painted with epoxy paint or with a flag handle made of galvanized steel with a PVC coating.

VALTEC GOST Ball valves should not experience mechanical loads from pipelines (bending, compression, stretching, torsion, distortions, vibration, nozzles misalignment and uneven tightening of fasteners). If necessary, supports or compensators should be provided.

The thread of pipelines and other parts connected to the valve should comply with GOST 6357-81. The external thread of the valves is not intended for connection with a union nut and a flat gasket.

The valves are not dismountable. If a leak appears through the rod, it is necessary to tighten the packing bush.

The fittings are manufactured in accordance with the requirements of GOST R 59553-2021.

Warranty period: 10 years.
