VALTEC LoRaWan wireless system in St. Petersburg

VALTEC engineers installed a door-to-door wireless water metering system in the complex of modern apartments "SALUT!" located in Saint Petersburg, Pulkovskoe shosse, 14 (letters D and E)

At the moment, about 650 metering units are installed in each building of the "SALUT!" complex, and their number still goes up. The readings of all water meters are transmitted to the single base station installed on the roof of the complex, from where they are transmitted to the server of the management company.

The data of all metering devices are transmitted automatically; presence and timely participation of the owner of the premises in data transmission is not required. It is very convenient taking into account specific features of the residential complex, a business center and an apart-hotel.

Besides, electronic water meters read readings in both directions, which makes possible to count the entire water flow regardless of its direction. That is, it is completely impossible to “fix the clock”, i.e., count meter readings in the opposite direction (cumulative accounting), as well as to use a magnet (the system will immediately emit a signal about the effect of a magnetic field).

The following devices were installed at the site:
• wireless water meters with radio channel VT.VMF.15.LR.0.M;
• base station VT.BS.LORA.1.

No subscription fee is charged to the management company and to subscribers for software use.
