AT MCE-2014 EXHIBITION

From 18 to 21 March the 39th Exhibition-Convention Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) was held at Milan. This is one of the world’s largest expositions of sanitary fittings, technology and equipment for heating, water-supply, cooling and air-conditioning. This year saw a record number of visitors to the event: 156000. The visitors to the exhibition of new utility products were not even deterred by the strike of the public transport workers at the Northern capital of Italy, which was announced during the exhibition (more so the organizers successfully solved the problem of transporting guests to the Fiera Milano expo center).
The number of participants at the MCE-2014 was more than 2000. Nearly half of the participants came from overseas. This year the number of foreign participants was higher than that of 2012 (the exhibition is held once every two years). Stably noticeable participation was ensured by the manufacturers from Germany, France, Spain and Great Britain. There was increased participation from India, China, UAE, USA, Australia, the Baltic States and former Yugoslavia. The organizers especially noted the increase in participation from Russia, Poland and Turkey. But the center of attraction was of course the host of the exhibition. It is particular that you find, among the Italian manufacturers, a lot of trend setters in the utility equipment market. Among them is the VALTEC manufacturing company.
Each company tends to exhibit its intellectual and technological potential in Milan. This year the novelties bag of VALTEC holds many solutions, which are of interest to professional audiences, including such tech-savvy crowd as is present at Expocomfort. But our main task at MCE-2104 was to show the highest manufacturing standard for the products sold under VALTEC trademark.
A large wall-mounted screen was used to show video clips demonstrating the production lines at VALTEC. Although it is hard to surprise our colleagues from western countries with high standards of production, but even they could not conceal their astonishment, seeing the installed Maillefer machinery used to produce the VALTEC metal-polymer pipes.
A modern highly technological brand, which creates and bravely introduces efficient solutions – this is how the visitors and participants of MCE-2014 saw VALTEC. Therefore increased interest to our brand was expected. Companies from across the globe showed their interest in doing business with us (from east and west European to Latin American countries). VALTEC has plans to strengthen its positions in the overseas markets, especially in the European markets.
