VT 389 Cascaded Filter: effective and compact

VALTEC is launching a new type of filters - VT 389. VALTEC self-cleaning filter has become much more compact and is easier to implement into a utility system. Cascade filtration system allowed to reduce the size of a filter and keep efficiency level: a new filter is equipped with two filter elements (one is put inside of the other). Mesh size of the first filter element is 1,000 чm and the second - 200 чm. The method of flow swirling is employed in this new model as in the old one. When the direction changes at the filter entrance at the right angle, substance flow becomes spiral and moves around inside the filter element. It helps block mechanical contaminants. Body and bowl of VT 389 cascaded self-cleaning filter are made of brass CW617N (standard EN 12165) and nickel plated. Filter elements are stainless steel. Drain ball valve may be installed with an outlet to connect a pipe and manometer for contamination control of the screens. The thread is female, 1/2". Sales of VT 389 started in March 2012.
