The range of fittings for metal-polymer pipes got a new product from the VALTEC 2017 catalog – compression fitting with coupling nut VTm.322.

These new fittings are designed to enable detachable connections on metal-polymer pipelines.

Let’s assume that the storage water heater in an apartment is connected to the metal-polymer pipes by means of conventional compression fittings with the female thread VTm.302. If, for any reason, it is required to temporarily disconnect the water heater from the pipelines, the user must unscrew the connection, snap off the compression ring and pull the pipe off the fitting. Usually, it’s a very difficult procedure and made by wobbling and deforming the pipe. The reverse operation - putting the pipe on the fitting – is made easier, but the fitting’s rubber rings are inevitably get damaged. After several similar manipulations the connection may become unusable.

Exactly for such cases VALTEC introduces a compression fitting with coupling nut VTm.322. Its disassembly and assembly does not affect the compressed connection.
