New: VT.CAR20 hydraulic shock absorber
With the advent in our apartments of quick-acting valve devices ("one-armed" faucets, ball taps, solenoid valves of household appliances) number of pressure shocks in the housing pipelines has grown. Such impacts are short-time, but significantly increase the pressure, thus incapacitating valves, gauges, reducers, tearing fittings off the pipes. For protection against hydraulic shock special absorbers are used.
A membrane hydraulic shock absorber VT.CAR20 is a modification of the well-proven absorber VT.CAR19. Its main distinguishing feature is the ability to quickly control the pressure in the air chamber. This is very important because if the pressure in the chamber drops below the calculated value, the absorber will not be able to fully perform its functions (in addition to smoothing out the hydraulic shocks, the device receives an excessive volume of water formed by heating of incoming cold water).
To control the VT.CAR20 performance, into the nipple fitting design a miniature ball valve with pressure gauge were introduced. A tenant may at any time open the valve and check the pressure in the air chamber of the absorber.
