2016 novelties

Let us inform you that three new scheduled VALTEC novelties have become available: ball valves VT.241.N and VT.248.N, developed on the base of VALTEC BASE popular series, as well as detachable cutoff pipe connection VT.537.N.

Ball valve with coupling nut VT.241.N ensures division of the pipe circuit in intercepted repair sections, which gainfully distinguishes the valve from dismountable pipe connections and ball valves with one-ended threaded pipe fittings. The coupling nut of the valve is connected with the corresponding male thread of the pipe circuit or fittings through a flat packing made of asbestos-free paronite. Valve mounting and dismantling is performed using common tube wrenches.

VT.248.N ball valve with a reverse valve and drainage is notable for its elongated semi-body, into which a spring reverse valve is built-in. The semi-body also has a nozzle with ¼” female thread, on which VT.435.N dismountable reduced drain ball valve with hose fitting is installed. Use of this novelty allows for observance of SP 30.13330.2012 “Internal water distribution and sewage on buildings” on installation of a reverse valve and of a primary fire-fighting valve after water meter at the entrance to the apartment, with the minimum installed length. If necessary, VT.TM40T manometer (to be bought separately) may be installed instead of a drain valve.

Detachable cutoff pipe connection is purposed for separation of a pipe circuits in sections, repair of which can be performed without discharging the system. This is the only kind of fittings which, according to the active norms, can be installed on expansion line of a heating system and hot-water supply. VT.537.N cutoff pipe connection with a drain valve is an advanced model of the said fittings which makes possible maximally careful heat carrier discharge from the disconnected expansion tank.
