Useful fitting for heating
Heating systems with natural circulation of heating medium are still the most commonly used fittings in domestic heating systems and as of late people have started using additional circulation pumps.
The circulation pumps in such systems are installed, usually, on the bypass of the main line. There is a ball valve, installed on the main line, which helps shut off the water through the minor line, i.e. through the bypass. It is necessary to shut this valve, when the pump is working. This is not convenient and the building standards do not allow it, since it affects the safety of the heating system. There is a better way: on the main line, between the cuts for the bypass, we install a ball reverse valve for gravitational systems VT.202.N. under natural circulation conditions the ball valve is open and does not hinder the circulation. When the pump is turned on the valve shuts out the main line and lets the heating medium flow only through the bypass with the pump. The float of the reverse valve is located in a casing made of nickel plated, hot pressed brass.
Currently we are manufacturing models with nominal diameter of 1” (25 mm).
