Reverse valves with drainage and air vents

This is to announce a new product: we have started sales of Reverse Valve with drainage and air vent VT.171.

The reverse valve is used to restrict the reverse flow of the medium. At zero flow speeds the valave is in closed position, cutting off part of the pipeline. To be able to bleed water beyond the reverse valve it is usual to install a draining device (faucet or tee with plug). Apart from that in case of vertical placement of the reverse valve and stoppage of flow, an air bubble might form before it, which would obstruct the normal working of the circuit.

Taking all these nuances into consideration VALTEC designers developed a reverse valve with a built-in air vent and drainage plug with connector VT.171. The use of this device reduces the number of fittings and joints, makes installation speedy and reduces the chances of leakage.

The connector can be used for installation of manual air vent, or for drainage connector and has female thread G 3/8”. In case of horizontal installation of the valve, when air vent is not needed, it can be replaced with a manometer.
