BALL VALVE WITH STEP-LESS CONTROLLER

A new product, ball valve with step-less controller VT.252, was added to the VALTEC product line. This new product was designed as per the requirements of the new CS 30.13330.2012 “Concealed water-supply and drainage of the building”, which describes the required tap and shut-off fittings, whose design provides for smooth opening and closing of water flow (Clause 7.1.4).
The reason for the implementation of such a strict rule is obvious: abrupt opening or closing of the taps causes hydraulic impact in the pipes.
As per design the VT.252 is similar to ball valve VALTEC BASE, but instead of steel lever or butterfly handle it has a knob with built-in planetary reducer, which restricts the sudden opening or closing of the tap. In case of rotating the knob at 180O the ball valve opens or closes, i.e. rotates at 90O.
Currently taps VT.252 with internal diameters of ½ and ¾” are available for sale.
