Improved design

Changes have been made in the construction of VT.382.B desliming filter which made possible obtaining of the following results:
• Thanks to addition of a second magnet, fuller slime removal is achieved.
• Flow capacity has been doubled and, accordingly, pressure losses on the filter have been significantly reduced.
• Brass ball valves are built into the body and are opened using a slot screwdriver (or a hex wrench), which made it possible to reduce filter sizes.
• The volume of the filter flask has been increased, which makes allows of rarer filter servicing.
• Filter installation versatility has been even more enhanced: in case of vertical installation, flow both "bottom up" and "top down" is now possible. Rotary structure is maintained which allows the filter to be installed on a horizontal, vertical or inclined section of a pipeline.

The principle of operation of the filter has not changed, still implementing three cleaning methods at the same time:
• slime separation due to the cyclone effect;
• removal of magnetic particles from the flow due to built-in permanent magnets;
• mechanical cleaning on a mesh filter element (500 and 800 micron meshes as a set).

The new model of the desliming filter has been assigned VT.382.BX article.
