VALTEC at Aqua-therm Moscow 2015

The 19th International Specialized Exhibition “Aqua-Therm Moscow-2015” took place from 3rd to 6th of February at the IEC “Crocus Expo”. The exhibition once again proved its status as the major Russian exhibition for the Russian market of heating, water-supply, ventilation and air-conditioning equipment: it was attended by 760 companies from 29 countries and the number of visitors was 27643 (mainly experts, entrepreneurs dealing in sanitary goods and services).

VALTEC is one of the permanent and most active participants of Moscow’s Aqua-Therm exhibitions, since the days of its inception. This year our brand was the sponsor of the event. Visitors could see the brand’s advertisements on the road from the metro, in the parking lot and in the halls of “Crocus Expo” (overstepping the sequence I would tell you that at the end of the event VALTEC was awarded the certificate for most optimum use of advertising opportunities). The slogan was “Looking for a dependable partner? Come to us!” This slogan needed no explanations: under the difficult conditions as in 2015, you can only “survive” if you have a partnership with a really strong company, which is confident of its resources and actions.

VALTEC’s corporate style is bright, recognizable, attractive to the audience – has long become an object of praise and is copied. It was especially notable at Aqua-Therm Moscow 2015, but the visitors were not taken aback, because they have long learned how to tell the original apart from the copy.

The permanent participants of global exhibitions prefer not to change the location of their stands at the exhibitions – it is comfortable for the clients and company’s visitors, symbolizes stability, reliance and dependability in company-client relations. The visitors to Aqua0Therm Moscow are accustomed to seeing VALTEC stand right opposite the entrance to the main hall of the exhibition pavilion.

Year in and year out, our stand attracts visitors due to its design, architecture and furnishing. This year the visitors, just entering the stand, saw a video display, which showed films about VALTEC’s new production facilities. This new facility is equipped with machinery manufactured by Maillefer, Battenfeld-Cincinnati and other European engineering industry leaders.

The VALTEC exposition at Aqua-Therm Moscow was an opportunity to see in detail the equipment on offer and understand the principles of its functioning and specifics of construction (our products include numerous patented solutions). Every year our company’s experts bring out working models of various parts of the sanitary systems, including non-standard solutions.

In 2015 the visitors were especially interested in the exhibits tagged “Various options of domestic water supply” – exhibiting the sample of domestic water supply using through-feed water-sockets (couplings). This rarely used collector-less circuit helps get rid of idle zones, meaning getting rid of unpleasant smells and danger of growth of legionella in the water in areas of low or rare consumption (guest room bath etc.) Each visitors had a chance to evaluate the advantages of this solution, watching the distribution (flow) of water, when any of the faucets (outlets) was opened.

At the “Elements of pipeline protection” stand, one could observe the functioning of automatic air-vents and understand that not all of the available parts in the market could fulfil their function equally.

We also exhibited working models of floor heating systems. These systems were equipped with programmable weather-dependent regulators and automatic monitoring and energy accounting systems VALTEC-BUS and CASCAD. These systems will be available for supply per order this year (simultaneously this demonstrated the option of setting up meters on special collectors, taking the water and heat meters out of the apartment). Other exhibits included systems of domestic heating and hot water supply using domestic station VT.CONTROL.SAT-H and control of pumping and pumping-mixing modules of VARMIX system.

Undoubtedly the experts were attracted to the stand “Automation and metering”, “Radiator fittings and floor heating modules” (showing the variations of single home systems using VT.IC-BOX modules) etc. The stands were enhanced by the use of monitors, which displayed 3-D models of VALTEC products, which helped the visitors evaluate the high level of structural design and technological advancement of the displayed products.

The explicit demonstration of “Comprehensive solutions” showed the options that you have laying water supply and heating systems using VALTEC sanitary fittings.

Taking into consideration the public’s interest in the VALTEC.PRG software for estimation of parts of utility circuits, one of company’s experts was present at the stand all the time to give consultations regarding the software. All of the visitors were able to consult the given expert regarding any or all of the estimation modules. Our potential clients had great interest in the information about the services offered by our design department.

In 2015 VALTEC is launching a wide range of new products, which were traditionally first exhibited at Aqua-Therm Moscow.

One of the new lines of production include fittings made of stainless steel. These products were designed to satisfy the existing demand in the market. It will be significantly more profitable to use high-strength, corrosion-safe, rapid-mounting due to crimp fittings VT.INBOX plumbing systems, as compared to offers by the competitors.

There is another new product made of stainless steel – hydraulic separator VT.VAR05.SS. It’s price is considerably lower than the bronze VT.VAR00.G and the structure has been modified for improvement: we added a separator, which speeds up the emission of gas from the heat carrier, perforated separator wall, which provides for the reduction in loss of heat in “hydro-shoot” from approximately 7 to 2-3%.

The long awaited circulatory pumps will also be added to the product range of our company. Two new models will be available for sale within 2015: three-speed, with manual switching of modes VRS and VRS.EA – with frequency modulation. The use of ceramic as structural material enables the pump to work with hard water. The use of these new products will decrease the prices of pumping-mixing units VT.COMBI, VT.DUAL, as well as VARIMIX system, as compared to the same fitted with German pumps. The VRS.EA model will have more than affordable price for a pump with electronic controls.

To help assist in the composition of a pumping system for water supply, we are adding a unit of pump automation (press-control), pressure relay and relay for protection against idle pumping in our range of products. Their working parts are made of silver-nickel alloy and are safe against rusting (oxidation) if used in moist premises.

It will be unjust to not mention the [products, which are already in the market: Heat meter VHM-T, pumping-mixing unit (PMU) VT.COMBI.S, modernised controller VT.K200.M.

The particularity of PMU VT.COMBI.S – use of an analogue servo motor VT.TE3061. According to VALTEC experts, this is how the system should be composed as a base system, because it enables the maximum use of the capacity of the heated floor as a comfortable and efficient system – combined with weather dependent controller (VT.K200.M – version of the given device with simplified control). It is time to make the automated control a common feature. We are confident that our campaign will be successful.

Among the other announced products: automation units, fittings, improved connectors for pipelines and related equipment (you can get detailed information in the brochure “New products in 2015 by VALTEC”). These products became a reality thanks to the tireless efforts and monitoring by our experts, who keep a finger on the consumer and plumber pulse and keep up to date about the “selection” and search of structural solutions.

As a tradition the visitors to Aqua-Therm Moscow had a chance to meet the engineers of popular fittings, technical managers and the brand’s leading experts.

These information materials were prepared by VALTEC employees. This year the collection of technical solutions was appended with the collection of “plans of domestic stations”. Our company also issued a new price list. It is notable that its volume has increased to 174 pages.

The most important news at Aqua-Therm Moscow-2015 was the start of gradual transition to a 10 year guarantee on majority of products in the catalogue. Prior to this, VALTEC gave a 7 year warranty for most of the products. The user feedback, statistical data about failures and resource testing showed that the company could warranty its products for a longer time.

The Aqua-Therm Moscow exhibition means multiple meetings with business partners, colleagues and consumers. All the visitors to the VALTEC stand obtained required information, had a chance to consult with our employees and discuss the matters of collaboration and consult regarding the use of products. This became possible only due to integrated functioning of our team of experts, engineers and managers.
