VALTEC S.r.l. has launched a safety fitting: the new pressure reducer – VT.082, combined with a filter and manometer.
This new product is designed to provide regulated pressure reduction in working medium for cold and hot water supplies at the point of entry of pipeline into the apartment. The reduction occurs on “behind itself” basis. The reducer is fitted with a manometer, which enables the accurate configuration of output pressure and enables you to regulate pressure at the output point. To protect the piston packing and internal impulse lining the reducer is fitted with a Y-filter for mechanical cleansing with cell size of 200 µm. The Y-filter plug has an eyelet for sealing.
The reducer is designed as reciprocating, spring-loaded and controllable. A flat screwdriver is needed to configure and control output pressure. The reducer can be totally repaired, because any of its parts can be repaired or replaced.
It is recommended to install the reducer right after entry valve, ahead of the water meter.
The VT.082 reducer is manufactured in internal diameters of ½ and ¾”. Currently we have ½” model on sale.
