Reverse valve for gravitational systems

(VT.202.N) Systems with natural heating medium circulation (gravitational) are still very commonly used as heating systems in small private homes. At the same time these often have additional pumps, which is used as the main force behind the circulation (the medium runs under gravitational effect, when there is no electricity) or to heat the premises at a faster pace.

Normally the pump is fitted to the bypass for the main line.

In such cases you need to install fittings on the bypass line, which would make sure that the medium does not run through the main line, when the pump is ON. It is not convenient to use a tap in such situations (it requires manual control) and is in breach of building safety standards. The ordinary spring loaded reverse valve would also not suffice, because of high hydraulic pressure.

For the purpose the VALTEC engineers have suggested the use of float activated reverse valve for gravitational systems VT.202.

When the system works under gravity the valve remains open and does not hinder the flow of the heating medium. When the pump is turned ON the valve shut OFF the main line and directs the whole flow through the bypass line into the heating system.

The valve has a hot pressed brass body with nickel plating. The connection thread is female.
