Pump automation module

(VT.EPC2.06) Pump automation module (press-control) VT.EPC2.06.0 is a combination of minimum pressure relay and flow relay and helps manage water pumps, protect them against closed circuit functioning and idle-run.

When water pressure falls below the set level this module switches the pump ON to maintain stable pressure. The minimum pressure value can be set independently within the following range: 1.5 to 3.0 bar (factory default – 1.5 bar). When water is turned OFF the pump goes idle after 8 seconds, which helps avoid any hydraulic impact. When there is not water in the supply line the module turns the pump OFF after 10-15 seconds to protect it against idle-run.

The module has a control panel. The built-in manometer makes it possible to visually monitor the working medium’s pressure at the module’s output. The relay’s working contacts are made of a silver-nickel alloy, which does not oxidize under humid conditions. This module can be used in conditions of up to 70% humidity. Device safety class – IP65. Connector diameter – 1”.
Feed Voltage – 220 V (50 Hz), Maximum switching current – 10 (when inductive load is 6) A. The switching capacity can be increased by installing a magnetic starter. This also enables the use of automation for three-phase pumps.
