Pressure relay

(VT.CRS5.02) Pressure Relay VT.CRS5.02.1 – it is a switching device, used to automate the operations of electrical pumps. The relay turns ON and OFF the pump in case of decrease or increase in set levels of maximum and minimum pressures. Factory default – 2.1/3.5 bar. The user can readjust this pressure setting within the range of 1.0-5.3 bar (minimum difference between values – 1.0 bar).

The relay’s contacts are made of a silver-nickel alloy, which does not oxidize under humid conditions. This device can be used where humidity levels are up to 80%. Protective covering class – IP44. Maximum temperature of the pumped medium – 40°C. Connector thread – female, ¼”.
Feed voltage – 220 V (50 Hz). Maximum switchable current – 16 (in case of inductive load of cosφ = 0.6 – 10) A. The switching capacity can be increased by installing a magnetic starter. This will also make it possible to use this device with three-phase pump.

The relay must be connected to the discharge line of the pump ahead of the first water discharge fitting. The simultaneous use of this relay and Anti-idle run relay VT.CRS6.02 provides complete automation and protection of the water pump.
